Kathryn currently anchors the weekend editions of CBS 47 and often reports on high profile stories during the week.
Kathryn grew up in California and enjoys living and working in Fresno because she is close to family.
Prior to moving to Fresno, Kathryn worked at KMTR-TV in Eugene, Oregon and KIDK-TV in Idaho Falls, Idaho. She has a B.A. Degree in Communications from U.C. Davis.
She is the winner of several broadcast excellence awards from the Associated Press. And she was nominated for an Emmy for her reporting on the Wesson murder case in Fresno.
Kathryn is married to author Jim Brown whose books include "24/7" Reality TV with a killer twist! and “Black Valley.” The family is rounded out by two cats.
Her outside interests include hiking, reading and quilting.
Kathryn is proud to have been involved in several community service organizations including the Muscular Dystrophy Association and the Humane Society
