Super Thrift Store and Cars
The
Super Thrift Store and Cars is one of the largest thrift store operations in the California Central Valley, and one of the few that offers previously owned vehicles for sale. Fresno County and surrounding communities have been supportive and have generously continued to donate new and used clothing, household items and vehicles. The store is owned and operated by the Foundation Fresno Rescue Mission, a supporting organization of the Fresno Rescue Mission. Proceeds from the sale of goods will ultimately benefit the ministries of the Mission.
Rev. Larry J. Arce, CEO of the Fresno Rescue Mission and Foundation Fresno Rescue Mission, spent years researching the possibility of creating a thrift store here in the Fresno Area because our community was so generous with their donations. The people we serve in our ministries receive donated clothing and other household items and the excess is sold in the store, creating an income stream that will benefit the future of the Mission. The store also offers job skills training to the men in the Mission's Academy Rehabilitation Program.
